hi.  if anyone’s been by lately and noticed no recent activity, i’ve been busy working on my first humble attempt at a children’s story … a little story i wrote and illustrated for the daughter of a friend of mine, who was grieving the loss of her pet rabbit.  it’s very short (only eight pages), but enough to get the message across, i suppose.  also making lots of birthday cards for friends, and craftsy kinds of things, like fairy paper dolls, etc.  just wanted to let you know i’ll be back to my mermaids and fairies soon, and that i haven’t abandoned DA  ^^ um, yeah … for what it’s worth
