fleeing the Gulf oil spill. rather drab, and dour. hadn't intended it this way, but the muses really cried out on this...and they wanted their plight known. the patterns on her tail even started to resemble oil. very heartbreaking!

btw, those are cownose rays she's swimming with. you often see great flocks of them swimming in the shallows of the Gulf of Mexico.
